Born from a lifelong passion for all things bike, The Custom Bicycle Company was originally established as JMJ Designs a custom paint company specialising in the cycle industry. From the outset, our clear aim was to offer the highest quality bicycle customisation; quite simply, we love bikes and have fallen head over heels for custom paint.

 

The company itself has evolved from an absolute passion for cycling, paintwork and creativity, with a desire to create the very best bespoke bikes. Over the years, we have developed to be able to offer many brands and components for your full builds.  After painting some of their frames, in 2021 we proudly became a dealer for Deviate Cycles  being able supply you with their frames including custom paint and full builds.  This became the start of our move towards offering full custom and factory builds for a number of manufacturers including Starling Cycles, ENVE Composites and Craft Bikes.  2025 saw the change of name to The Custom Bicycle Company as we felt we just needed it to better reflect what we do, as it is now so much more than just paintwork. We now have a range of 'off the peg' bikes and frames available from road, to gravel, to trail, to mtb, to enduro and the ever popular ebike.​
